Design of Transfer Alignment Algorithm with Velocity and Azimuth Matching for the Aircraft Having Wing Flexibility

A transfer alignment is used to initialize, align, and calibrate a SINS(Slave INS) using MINS(Master in motion. This paper presents an airborne with velocity azimuth matching estimate inertial sensor biases under the wing flexure influence. study also considers lever arm, time delay relative orientation between MINS SINS. The traditional only uses matching. In contrast, this utilizes prevent divergence of when aircraft stationary or quasi-stationary since less affected by flexibility. performance proposed Kalman filter analyzed two factors; one estimation gyroscope accelerometer bias other comparing dynamics attitude covariance. verified long term flight test. test results show that scheme can be effectively applied various platforms require alignment.
